Position Title: Custodial Host/Hostess

Contract Length: 8 months on/2 months off

Privilege Level: Crew

Hours Per Week: 70 hours minimum (10-12 hours per day, potential overtime)

Berthing: Shared with 1-3 roommates

Reporting:

• Reports to: Assistant Housekeeping Manager
• Direct reports: None

Top Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all public guest areas and crew areas, including restrooms, hallways, and cabins
• Handle and distribute guest luggage during embarkation and debarkation
• Maintain workspaces to DCL standards and report maintenance issues
• Flexibility required for various shifts, including crew cabin cleaners, day and night custodial shifts

Additional Job Responsibilities:

• Work in all housekeeping/custodial areas as needed
• Use various chemicals, cleaners, sanitizers, and disinfectants
• Handle and maintain housekeeping equipment
• Remove dirty dishes and glassware from public areas
• Work on private island on rotation, cleaning and assisting guests
• Provide directions and general information to guests

Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience, including chemical use
• Preferred experience with floor cleaning equipment and floor care
• Previous experience in a high guest service focused company preferred
• Extremely flexible with shifts covering both day and night
• Physically fit, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and bend
• Ability to work as part of a team
