Position Title: Demi Chef De Partie
Contract Length: 6 months on/2 months off
Privilege Level: Petty Officer/Staff Hours Per Week: 70 hours minimum (10-12 hours per day, potential overtime)
Berthing: Shared with 1-3 roommates

Reporting:
- Reports to: Chef de Cuisine
- Direct reports: None
Top Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare all meat, fish, shellfish, vegetables, starches, and other menu items
- Assist in breakfast preparation
Additional Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate and assist the Chef De Partie and team members to complete daily tasks
- Ensure Disney Cruise Line and USPH sanitation requirements are met
- Ensure established food quality standards during storage, production, and service
- Oversee preparation and presentation of all menu products
- Monitor opening and closing procedures for all kitchens and production areas
- Report malfunctioning equipment
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum one year formal culinary training and three years full-time experience in a kitchen environment OR three completed contracts as a Cook 1 onboard a cruise ship
- Proficient in following and converting recipes
- Knowledge of Food Safety HACCP / USPH
- Commitment to culinary career and passion for food preparation
- Ability to work on a multi-cultural team in a confined environment
