Position: Head Waiter Join Royal Caribbean as a Head Waiter, where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences at sea. As the right hand to the Restaurant Manager, you’ll oversee restaurant personnel, ensuring top-tier food quality, service excellence, and hygiene standards to maximize guest satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and coaching restaurant staff to maintain a seamless and professional dining experience.
  • Managing operational, financial, and motivational tasks to enhance service quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Facilitating team coordination to optimize workflow and elevate guest service standards.

External Hiring Requirements:

2–3 years of experience as a Head Waiter, Captain, or Chef de Rang in a 4- or 5-star hotel or restaurant. ✔ 1–2 years of supervisory or restaurant management experience in a high-end dining establishment. ✔ Extensive knowledge of food service operations, including terminology, presentation, and customer service principles. ✔ Leadership skills to manage an international staff with effective coaching and disciplinary action when needed. ✔ Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment while meeting established deadlines. ✔ Strong communication skills to interact with department heads, coworkers, and shipboard employees. ✔ Proficiency in computers and software such as Excel and Word. ✔ High school diploma (minimum requirement); Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred.
