
Assistant Stateroom Host/Hostess – Disney Cruise Line
As an Assistant Stateroom Host/Hostess, you will support the Stateroom Host/Hostess in maintaining cleanliness and guest service excellence within Concierge Suites and designated areas. This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to luxury hospitality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum two years in housekeeping, cleaning 10–15 rooms daily within the last five years.
- Luxury Service Background: Previous experience in a five-star or deluxe hotel or cruise ship operation preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle luggage weighing 50+ lbs.
- Guest Interaction: Strong ability to provide personalized service, including assisting young children.
- Preferred Experience: Previous shipboard experience beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of Concierge Suites and designated areas.
- Transport necessary supplies, including linens, towels, cleaning equipment, and guest amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness of designated pantries, ensuring compliance with USPH standards.
- Perform detailed sanitation procedures in staterooms, including bed-making, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.
- Maintain overall cleanliness of hallways, Concierge lounge, and other assigned areas.
- Ensure proper stocking of linen lockers with clean towels, linens, and cleaning materials.
- Collect and transport dirty linens and towels between laundry services and designated sections.
- Handle guest laundry delivery and provide shoeshine service.
- Report and document maintenance concerns in assigned areas.
- Assist with luggage handling, transporting up to 75 pieces on embarkation and debarkation days.
