
Casual Dining Room Services Manager – Disney Cruise Line
As a Dining Room Services Manager, you will oversee food and beverage operations across multiple restaurant venues, ensuring service quality, compliance, and guest satisfaction. This role requires leadership, financial oversight, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum three years in a department head role within a multi-outlet food and beverage operation.
- Restaurant Management: Previous leadership experience in large-scale dining (150+ covers per meal period), a la carte, and fast-casual settings.
- Financial Acumen: Proven track record of managing budgets and profit & loss responsibilities.
- Team Leadership: Experience supervising multinational teams, including Assistant Managers and Supervisors.
Preferred Experience
- Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- Previous shipboard experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise dining service and quality standards across all food & beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Enforce USPH compliance and lead inspection teams alongside the Manager of F&B Services.
- Maintain and update F&B operational guidelines, coordinating with shore-side support.
- Ensure a balanced and diverse team structure across restaurant operations.
- Uphold high standards in leadership, fostering a trusting and inclusive team culture.
- Train and oversee F&B crew in compliance with USPH and operational procedures.
- Manage budgets, track inventories, and procure necessary equipment for efficient operations.
- Adjust dining facility schedules based on operational demands.
- Lead training programs within the dining department and support staff development.
- Handle guest service recovery, ensuring swift resolution of concerns.
- Monitor and maintain furniture, equipment, and operational efficiency within food service outlets.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among dining teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and allergy-related procedures.
