Beverage Server – Disney Cruise Line
As a Beverage Server, you will coordinate and deliver exceptional beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong product knowledge, physical endurance, and excellent sales techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of one year in the beverage industry.
- Product Knowledge: Extensive understanding of international wines, cocktails, and alcohol brands.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry trays up to 30 lbs.
- Preferred Experience: Shipboard experience is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate beverage service with Bartenders and Assistant Bartenders onboard and at private island locations (Lookout Cay & Castaway Cay).
- Maintain bar cleanliness, ensuring proper table clearing and glass washing in line with USPH standards.
- Execute suggestive selling and upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and drive revenue.
- Assist with collecting and delivering bar provisions, handling heavy trolleys and stocking supplies.
- Recommend and serve beverages, ensuring timely and professional delivery.
- Verify guest identification before serving alcohol to those appearing underage, exercising discretion in discontinuing service when necessary.
