As a Pastry Chef, you will play a key role in creating high-quality desserts and baked goods while adhering to strict food safety standards. This position requires culinary expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of four years in the culinary industry.
- Certification: Certified Pastry Cook or equivalent culinary arts degree.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Proficient in HACCP protocols and USPH regulations.
- Work Environment: Comfortable working independently during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Pastry Chef in executing and refining approved menus.
- Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, and decorative showpieces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and kitchen sanitation protocols.
- Follow opening and closing procedures for kitchen and production areas.
- Maintain quality control and presentation standards for all baked goods.
- Collaborate with the team while also managing solo responsibilities efficiently.
