Position Title: Hotel Storekeeper
Average Contract Length: 8 months on/2 months off
Minimum Hours Per Week: 70 hours per week
Average Hours Per Week/Day: 80-90 hrs per week, 10-12 hrs per day
Guest Contact: Low
Top 4 Responsibilities:
- Load all Hotel Stores items, store, and secure them
- Order assigned items (Food, Bonded or General Supplies)
- Prepare all food, beverage, and general stores requisitions on set schedule
- Conduct inventory of assigned items according to set schedule
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure maintenance and organization of assigned storeroom, fridge, or freezers
- Monitor temperature logs of freezer and fridges
- Ensure USPH sanitation and cleanliness standard throughout work area
Required/Desired: Experience, Qualifications, Education, Licenses:
- Minimum one year experience working in provisions, storeroom, and/or a warehouse
- Knowledge of inventory procedures preferred
- Ship experience a plus
- Experience operating a forklift and/or electric pallet jack
- Able to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
- Must be able to manage heavy/physical work and stressful conditions (i.e., loading period)
- Good communication/people skills due to interaction with shipboard and shore side departments
- Ability to work with little supervision
