Position Title: Quick Service Attendant

Average Contract Length: 8 months on/2 months off

Minimum Hours Per Week: 70 hours per week

Average Hours Per Week/Day: 80-90 hrs per week, 10-12 hrs per day

Position Summary: Support the delivery of an exceptional counter service dining experience for Guests and Crew while rotating through all high-volume, fast food outlets, onboard/island buffets, and Crew/Officer back-stage dining locations throughout the day. Keep areas stocked with all supplies and oversee proper food/supply storage. Ensure cleanliness of assigned food & beverage areas to uphold Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP) requirements while meeting or exceeding Disney Cruise Line standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional quick and friendly food & beverage service to Guests, Officers, and Crew at all times.
  • Actively provide information and product knowledge regarding food and beverage offerings with our external and internal Guests at any time.
  • Maintain assigned quick service location show-ready at all times.
  • Possess full knowledge and understanding of stock rotation in the quick service areas.
  • Identify and report equipment requiring maintenance.
  • Coordinate pick up and replacement of designated food items.
  • Proper use, cleaning, and sanitation of equipment.
  • Follow all garbage handling procedures.
  • Knowledge of all shipboard services and amenities.
  • Deliver flawless and professional presentation.
  • Meet or exceed all Disney Cruise Line® and VSP sanitation requirements.
  • Achieve a high level of cleanliness in any assigned quick service area at all times.
  • Provide a la carte style service for casual dining. This includes following all steps of service, full product knowledge, and detailed service at the table (note: not all Crew will be scheduled for this meal period—it will be a designated role, based on experience).

Required/Desired: Experience, Qualifications, Education, Licenses:

  • Minimum six months experience working in a food and beverage service related role.
  • Fast food or buffet experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pound items.
  • Ship experience a plus.
